I'm a girl who is in love with fiction, creativity, and the power of imagination. Stories are my passion, no matter what form they come in, and I create art to reflect that love. I have loved drawing my entire life and am completely self-taught. The learning process has been long and slow for me, but when I see the beautiful creations of other people I tell myself that maybe one day I too will be able to do something like that. In the meantime, I'll just try to enjoy the journey there.

So you may have noticed I've been on a bit of a poetry kick lately. Last week I wasn't feeling very good, so I just scribbled down a few words to vent. It actually made me feel a lot better, and more poems starting just springing up out of my brain.
I've never really been one who enjoys poetry. I tried writing it when I was younger but everything I wrote sounded horribly pretentious and emo, so I gave up. Poetry still does have a bit of an affected, ostentatious feel to me, but I now understand why writing it can help people with their emotions.
I don't pretend that I'm a great poet or anything, all the poems I've posted so far have literal

I felt like I should document my life more, and I'm trying to do that through photos/eventually vlogging. And I am trying to get over my camera-shyness.

Sometimes I'll just be sitting here trying to come up with new story ideas or character designs or whatever and then I'll realize either 1. I'm copying something that already exists and/or 2. Somebody else has already done my idea 10000000x better.
